Why light matters?

Outdoors, plants use light from the sun to flourish. Sunlight has a wide spectrum, and plants use a specific range of wavelength from 400 to 700 nanometres for photosynthesis. This wavelength window is known as Photosynthetically Active Radiation (PAR), and it’s this range of wavelength that you need to replicate indoors to mimic the sunlight and provide the perfect environment for your hydroponics to grow.

Additionally, plants need different wavelengths of light in different stages of their lives. Grow lights are purposefully designed to support all stages of plant growth, which is why careful selection of grow light matters.
